Whether you are traveling for business or leisure, try a B&B once and you’ll realize that it is a very pleasant alternative from the cookie cutter layout of today’s motels and hotels. These differences may post questions for B&B guests. Do you need a reservation? How much will it cost? What’s for breakfast? What is appropriate behavior? We have tried to provide some brief and simple answers, for those of you who are too shy to ask.

Reservations
It is a good idea to call in advance to be sure a room is available. Advance deposits are required and there is a cancellation policy. Special arrangements may be made for young adults and older children.

Cost
Rates vary. They vary room to room and also season to season. Please visit our Room Page by clicking the room button to your left (in the black area).

Breakfast
It is standard to include breakfast at no additional cost at a B&B. It is offered one of three ways. Continental: rolls, muffins, coffee or tea and juice; Continental plus: extras are added to the standard Continental breakfast like cereal or fruit; Full: often includes many of the above items or one or more hot items. Some B&B’s serve you at the table, some offer buffet-style, and some serve Continental style breakfast in room. Your Arrowhead Manor mini fridge will include muffins, croissants, or something similar; juice, and a coffee maker with gourmet coffee, tea and condiments.  This will be waiting in your room when you check in. If you are staying on a Friday or Saturday night, the innkeepers cook a full breakfast at 9 a.m. in the Great Room. This often consists of fruit, cereal, quiche, sausages, and other great breakfast foods.

How do I act at a B&B
Courtesy is the key. Many Guests are sleeping between the hours of 9 or 10 pm, and 10 am.  This is the time we all try to be as quiet as we can.  Mutual respect is the mode of operation between the innkeeper and guests as well as between guests themselves. Please refer to the Arrowhead Manor guest book placed in each room for more details.
